Paul Meshanko
Founder and Managing Partner
Edge Learning of Ohio's Cleveland, OH office

Paul has a BSBA from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is a Registered Corporate Coach and a Master Facilitator for Edge Learning Institute’s leadership, employee engagement, and diversity awareness processes. He is currently the firm's practice leader for all leadership development and diversity/inclusion programs.

As a published author and nationally recognized keynote speaker, Paul’s newsletter, On the Edge, is read by thousands of business leaders every month. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland and is an active member of both ASTD and SHRM. Prior to opening the EdgeOhio office in 1997, Paul was a Director of New Product Development for AlliedSignal Corporation.

Tony Bennett
Managing Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio’s Columbus, OH office

He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management. He coaches individuals and teams at the executive, middle management and front line levels in various industries including service, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, publishing and distribution. He has worked with national and multinational organizations to positively impact workgroups, relationships, initiatives, performance and productivity. Tony is a Registered Corporate Coach through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and a certified facilitator for Edge Learning’s Increasing Human Effectiveness® leadership and employee engagement curriculum.

Ned Parks

Ned is the founder and President of New Directions Learning & Development. He is a Registered Corporate Coach through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and an Associate Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio. He has evolved from police officer to helicopter pilot to successful entrepreneur. Ned excels in face-to-face coaching as a result of his intense experience guiding individuals through life’s challenges. He attended Warrant Officer Candidate School, the U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot School, and the U.S. Army’s adult education program. His qualifications include certified facilitator for Increasing Human Effectiveness by Edge Learning Institute as well as certified mediator and flight instructor.

Glen Whipple

Glen is the President of LTI Consulting and an Associate Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and an MBA from Kent State University. His qualifications include certification in the Internal Resource Development Series (leading organizational change initiatives) sponsored by David W. Miller & Associates, Advanced 360 Degree Process and Cultural Survey Assessment by Human Synergistics, and Master Facilitator Certification in Increasing Human Effectiveness by Edge Learning Institute. Glen is a Registered Corporate Coach through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and an Adjunct Faculty member at Kent State University. He has held HR management positions with Avery Dennison and Parker Hannifin Corporation.

Sue Thomas

Sue is the founder and President of M-A-P, LLC and an Associate Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio. She has over 25 years of business experience, 17 years of equine experience and 15 years in Human Resource Management. She holds a B.A. in Human Services from Baldwin-Wallace College and an M.S. in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University. Her qualifications include certification in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Emotional Intelligence Competency Inventory, EAGALA Level 1 by the Equine Assisted Growth & Learning Association, and Increasing Human Effectiveness by Edge Learning Institute. Sue is a WABC Registered Corporate Coach and is currently engaged in the Gestalt International Coaching Program.

Mike Shydlowski

New to the Edge Learning of Ohio team, Mike is the retired (June, 2007) President and CEO of BASF Admixtures, Inc., in Cleveland, the Admixture Systems North America Business Unit of BASF Construction Chemicals. In his 25+ year history with the company, he oversaw the sale and integration of MasterBuilders to both Degussa AG (2001) and then to BASF (2006).

A veteran of the concrete industry, Shydlowski has more than 37 years experience in marketing, sales, technical service, strategic planning, and general management in the ready mixed concrete business. Shydlowski has served on many association committees, including Government Affairs, Concrete Promotion and as the chairman of the Materials Division of NRMCA. He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.

Kim Langley

Kim is the president of LifeBalance Enterprises, Inc. and an Associate Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio. She has conducted over 250 seminars on emotional intelligence, meeting facilitation skills, stress, dealing with difficult people, managing difficult conversations, change, wellness topics, conflict, communication skills and creativity.

Jean holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is a certified facilitator for Edge Learning’s Increasing Human Effectiveness® and employee engagement curriculum. She is also an Achieve Global Customer Service certified trainer. Jean served for 15 years as part of the adjunct faculty at Capitol University and is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Notre Dame College. She is also a part of the ASTD Human Performance Training certificate program in Business Continuing Education.

Jean Triner

Jean is the president of Triner Associates, Inc. and an Associate Partner of Edge Learning of Ohio. She has over thirty-five years of coaching and development in the healthcare and for-profit service and manufacturing industries. She has experience coaching dozens of high level executives who want to increase their leadership effectiveness. By combining team building skills with her executive coaching expertise, Jean has coached physicians with leadership responsibilities, high-level administrative and technology executives, entrepreneurs, managing partners of accounting and law firms and leaders of organizations experiencing rapid change.

Jean is trained in Leadership Coaching and is a member of SHRM and the International Coaching Federation. She holds a BA degree from the University of Washington and a Master’s Degree in organizational effectiveness from the University of Cincinnati. She also participated in an Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.

Richard Anderson

Dick is President and Chief Operating Officer of Edge Learning Institute’s Tacoma, Washington office. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Whitworth College. He is a compelling speaker and educator. Dick knows how to combine fresh, creative ideas with years of experience to make for enjoyable, insightful listening. As a result, he’s respected as a top seminar leader. Since 1973 he has presented before several hundred thousand people, including some of the most respected leaders in business, government and education.

Theresa Welbourne, Ph.D.

Theresa is the founder, President and CEO of eePulse, Inc. and an Adjunct Professor of Executive Education at the University of Michigan Business School. She leads an organization that delivers web-based leadership tools and research for continuous improvement and change management. Her proprietary web-based software suite allows organizations and leaders to immediately improve their performance. Productivity enhancement comes from action taken in response to real-time stakeholder information. Using the Pulse Dialogue and Pulse Reporting engines, data is provided in real-time so that immediate action can be taken to confront “breaking news.”

Theresa works with a team of world-class educators and researchers renowned for their skill in creating and integrating knowledge with practical application.

George Aslinger

George is the founder and President of Aslinger & Associates. He leads an organization that helps clients improve productivity, equipment, reliability and set-up / changeover through the application of Total Productive Maintenance, Six-Sigma, and Lean Enterprise principles with tremendous success. George developed an innovative process call SWARMSM, which involves a large number of people focused on rapid breakthrough improvement in business process outcomes (similar to Work-OutSM at GE).

George has a BS in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee and an MS in Operations Management from Georgia State University. He has also received extensive training in organizational design and large system change management, Total Productive Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, and is a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt.

Mark Pinto

Mark Pinto is the president of the Mark Pinto Group and has been delivering his unique brand of consulting for over seven years.

Mark spent the early part of his career as a consultant in the national office of a large international consulting firm. There, he developed competency in knowledge management, large group facilitation for strategic planning and adult, accelerated learning program development and delivery. This dynamic environment introduced Mark to many cutting edge technologies and business philosophies. Work was conducted in tight, collaborative time frames working in different locations nationally and internationally with a diverse group of team members often coming together for the first time.

He brought his experience in collaborative, group processes and teaming into his own company in 2001 and has since expanded his knowledge and service into many small, medium and large companies in the US and abroad. His approach focuses on the whole learner and addresses the issue of group learning and teaming, diverse learning styles and the process of life long learning. He is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College with a BA in Business and Communication.  Mark is also certified to facilitate Edge Learning’s Increasing Human Effectiveness® leadership and employee engagement curriculum as well as the respect programs.

Regina Olbinsky

Regina D. Olbinsky, RCC, PHR, MBA is a recognized career and leadership coach, who started The Career Group, LLC in 2003. She holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BS with Honors in Psychology, Human Resource Management and Russian from The Ohio State University. In addition, Regina has earned a Certificate in Developing Leadership through Emotional Intelligence from Weatherhead, the Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) Designation from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute. She is accredited to use and interpret several key assessment instruments, including the Hay 360 – Emotional (and Social) Competency Inventory (ECI & ESCI), DiSC, and Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ).

Regina has been actively involved with numerous community and professional organizations, most extensively and notably as past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Her articles have been published by the The Plain Dealer, Crain’s Cleveland Business, and CSHRM’s HRMagazine, Weatherheadlines and the Cleveland Jewish News.

Melody Costello

Melody Costello assists clients with order processing, seminar registration, speaking engagements, and manages the Edge Cleveland office.  Prior to joining Edge Learning of Ohio, she worked for an outplacement services firm.
She has an AAB from The University of Akron.

 

Melanie Sklarz

Melanie Sklarz has spent the last decade developing, facilitating and promoting learning and training programs for non-profits, primarily in Washington, DC.  She brings considerable experience in new media marketing strategies, especially blogs, and has authored her own blog since 2006. Melanie is the web content coordinator for the RespectfulWorkplace.com site and blog as well as a facilitator for Edge Learning's diversity and respect programs.
 
She has a BA from Seton Hill College and a MA in Women’s Studies from the Ohio State University.
